sorry guys, got noob question...
 
i know i should know this but, how do you flash a ROM using win7? i am sure this was covered when it first came out. but for some reason i cant seem to find anything on the subject. :scratch: any help will be thanked.

so will my mobiler allow me to flash a ROM with win7? is that what everyone else is using?

the problem is that win7 doesnt have activesync. so when i connect my phone to the PC it doesnt even recognize my phone. if i remember correctly ppl had this problem when vista and win7 first came out. im just trying to find a solution to my problem since i now a have a win7 computer. i need to find a way to flash a ROM.

your win7 machine came with WMDC installed......unless maybe you have win7 starter, in that case you may need to download WMDC.. its in your programs list in start menu... phone will connect but you have to open WMDC manually to show it.... youll also get a popup saying no email program is installed(no outlook)

exactly my experience when I had early beta version Win7 , you have to install activesyncat M$ site.

With bot my sis & brothers new laptops, Win7 already is there and so should be no prob.

yeah my laptop was ready to go, aside from outlook.... win7 64bit
