When I put a case on TP2 the touch screen does not respond

Do I need to buy an OEM case? I bought one off ebay and it was expensive with good reviews.

I can't even answer the phone with it on. Thanks.

TP2 uses a resistive touch screen, if any part of the case is touching the screen it will affect its performance. I personally don't use a case for my tp2, I have an invisible shield on the screen and that's it. I keep it in my pocket and so far 'knock on wood' it hasn't shown any wear and tear. I would suggest scrapping the case and just keep it in your pocket.

Same here.
No case... Front pocket... Sometimes I put it in a Golla pouch on my belt... Just to keep it out of my pocket.
I have this one... It's not girlie. And it has a couple of pockets for accessories (cards or even headphones). But most often in my front left pocket.

Wirelessly posted (htc Pocket PC: Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/15954; U; en))

Well, if you use a screen locker you can use a case.
If you keep it in your pocket be careful not to put too much pressure on the screen or you're bound to see the rainbow bands.

Make sure your not covering your motion sensor thingy in the top left corner of your phone. I bought a case a while back and the hole was on the wrong side. I drilled a hole on the left side and BAM...It worked!
