cprog.exe crash when i use the dialer
 

When i try to use the dialer smart dialer, certain buttons cause a cropg.exe crash? Any ideas. I have sprint stock rom.

I tried disabling sense and still same problems

Hmm...It might be time for a hard reset.
It should never do that.

do u have a touch pro or touch pro2? i used to have that happen on my TP

so this is something that's going to happen alot and require multiple hard reset?

likely this was a one time problem. if this starts happening more often, it may be a precurser to a hardware failure. After seven months of use, I needed to hard reset. It's just needed every so often to clear out junk files.

ok, i appreciate the advise, but just to be clear....is this something specifically that you guys have experienced or you are just suspecting?

I have never had the dialer crashing issue you describe so, that is my best guess.

i backed everything up with spb backup, then hard reset.

everything is fine, except when i restored from spb it started again.

going to uninstall every program to see if any is causing this.

hard reset, then add your apps one at a time. your backup carried over the system error to the restore.
