ROM flashing help
 

1. I am a noob!

2. i keep trying to flash my ROM with HardSPL, but it keeps installing the same ROM that i currently have, some energy from july.

3. Is there any how to threads that can help me? or someone who can tell me what im doing wrong? i NEED a new ROM before my phone kills itself, thanks

hardspl does not flash a rom. all it does is unlock your tp2 so that you are able to flash custom roms. to flash a rom, visit the upgrades section, find a rom, download it and then run the rom update utility.

ill make a reccomendation. flash the 10/24 LEAD rom u wont be disappointed, its a pretty good rom so far and im hard to please when it comes to roms and it is very light in size (only 145 mb)

just flash any rom the same way you did enrgy... just dont use the unlocker anymore to try it lol

Right, so i did all that, and when i try opening the RUU, it just goes to hardspl and thats it. and even if i go through that, nothing happens after.
maybe i just dont remember how to flash my rom, idk what im doing:scratch:

are you unlocked? if your sure you are what exactly happens when you run the rom exe?

Put your device in bootloader.
Then connect to your pc.
Then start the ruu.
