x to close program, not minimize
 

where is the setting to choose to close programs with the "x" button or "ok" button instead of minimozing it.

I can do it on my Touch pro with Wm 6.1 but can't seem to find it on tp2 with sprint stock wm6.5

Tap on the task manager icon at the top right hand corner.
Tap the little wrench.
Tap the button tab at the bottom
Choose the radio button marked End probrams by tappping and holding x

thats just it... i am not seeing a task manager icon in the right upper hand corner. on the tp, it looks like a down arrow with some horizontal lines

Launch a probram and then go to the home screen... You should be able to see the icon...

that must be it. So you guys recommend installing taskbar, right? (as oppose to letting wm6.5 do it automatically)

your stock 6.5 you have should have one in there. try going to the task manger in the start menu, i cant remember where its is in there. and if my memory serves me correctly once you open taskmanager there are option tabs at the bottom and in one of them is the option to display it in the upper right hand corner!

I'll get you the cab for the taskmanager to come up on the top right hand side of your screen in a minute. Just gotta get it from my phone to my PC.

ok i can run task manager from start menu but no options whatsoever to display it in upper right corner. Where can i get the task manager cab?
