Tethering Drops Cellular Signal
 

I'm running the latest version EnergyRom on my TouchPro2..

When I try to share my Internet connection using either

WMWifiRouter or WifiRouter thats part of the Rom..

I'm able to connect and all, but after 10 seconds or my cellular data connection just drops.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It could be lots of things. The rom, your connection strength, power settings...
You'll just have to investigate. I would ask this in your rom thread or ask the chef directly.

another tethering thread, so funny. well i wouldnt really panic unless its having a detrimental effect on your tethering experience. just because your signal bars are low does not mean that your signal level is really low.

if your running the newer bulds of NRG, you MUST have the SIM inserted to tether..... that info is in NRGs thread AND several Tethering threads on here, in this forum even..

also, did you provision your phone for VZW when flashing the ROM?? NRG has a carrier selection upon install on the new builds, doesnt he?(i dont remember)
