Longtime MightyROM fan looking for new ROM.

Hi all,

I have been using MightyROM since October 2009, and I've been loving it.

Loved the simplicity, style, speed and stability it had.

Since MightyROM is "discontinued" for the TP2, I'm wondering what is my best bet as a replacement? I want a ROM that is quick and stable.

My June 20th MightROM is starting to act up on me and it's time to re-flash, but I'd like something more recent.

So many options out there I'm not sure what's what and what is still being maintained.

Any help/comments much appreciated!

Theres a whole bunch of roms to choose from under this post. pick one, FLASH it, then try it out. Ive tried each and every one since each and every one is different.

Give Lead ROM a try. He has a Sprint and multi carrier versions.

Well since you thought his ROM was fast, you could try anyone's ROMs on here and see that they are all much faster than MightyROM.

I was a very long time Mighty user, was on the June 20th as well until about a month ago. Gave Energy another try and I can't believe the improvements since the last time I tried an Energy rom. The amount of memory available after a reboot is reasone enough. Also I found with energy I don't need to overclock as it seems to run very smooth right off the bat. But as everyone suggests, try a few out and decide for yourself, they all have their pros and cons.

I use Energy's "Reference" ROMS, Specificly the 2168x line (6.5.x). If you like Mighty ROM this will be a good ROM for you to try

I've been pretty happy with Vin's ROMS after being a long time MR user...

i've been on mightyrom fullforce.. now i am on lead rom. its pretty good.. i am a flash addict, so i dont stay with one rom for more than 1 month . but Lead and mighty FF have been my favs so far

My vote goes to VINdows -- Neodium for 6.5.1 and Plutonium for 6.5.x

My personal favorite is Freezas BareNakedROM 6.1. the stability of 6.1 is nice though lacking some features of 6.5. However there are some problems with his ROM camera doesnt work but i fixed that if you choose that ROM i will help you get it working . other than that the ROM is pretty fast and you get 300 mb of STORAGE memory for putting whatever on it . i however have left that ROM and am in the Process of Cooking my own 6.5 rom. But his ROM is still amazing. I personally HATE manilla or tf3d or whatever you wanna call it for it chews up WAY too much PROGRAM memory for i love to multitask plus SPB Mobile Shell is extremely customizable . so thats what i use. to me it was worth the 30 bucks for the license can be applied endless amount of times when i switch ROMS. so i would recommend Titanium roms if you like speed and multitasking. Another great ROM is Mavericks Mobile shell ROM .. and Medium Hills ROM .. love the start menu on the bottom which im trying to figure out how to cook into my rom :P .. and my final recommendation would be Plutonium. so just browse around and find what you would like to try .. as with everything . you never know until you try!!
