Unethical question
I know this question is a little unethical, but I've been having problems with my Touch pro 2. Things like rebooting, screen freezing, things of that nature. I've had t perform a hard reset three times in the last 3 months, and it doesnt help.
So heres my question. I have TEP through Sprint. Is there something I can do to the phone (not any type of physical damage) to stop making it completely work so sprint gives me a new one without a deductable? Again, I know this is a but unethical, but I'm tired of having all of these issues. |
Re: Unethical question
It's already having issues enough that I would call them and complain, telling them that you want the unit replaced.

Re: Unethical question
I've already called and talked to the service and repair center at my local sprint store. All the said was to hard reset it, even though I've done it three times already.
The thing is, when it acts up its completely random. I dont think I'd be able to show them how its acting up. |
Re: Unethical question
Just go into a Sprint store (one with a repair facility)
Most cases, they will look at your phone, find the problem and order you a replacement free of charge if you have TEP and no physical damage/water damage has been done to the phone. When you go in be like : Hey, I've called more than once to this store and yall just told me to hard reset the sucker. It's still doing the same thing. (tell them what exactly its doing) Let them look at the phone. Hopefully they won't be an ass about it and just order you a replacement |
Re: Unethical question
i feel your pain, i would try another repair store or call *2 and explain to them. doing something "unethical" is why we have to pay $100 now instead of the $50 before.

Scum bag.it's because of you why I'm paying 100$ to asurion. :(

Re: Unethical question
Hit yourself repeatedly with the phone about the head and neck area... That's sure to make the phone stop working.
Hopefully you get your thoughts in order during the process too. Enjoy. p. |

Re: Unethical question
Then take it in and bring that argument with you. I had a TP with a broken board and stood my ground and argued that the broke board was a result of poor workmanship... And got my phone replaced... They charged me the 100 buck and credited my account 100 bucks. I was cool with that.
But asking for unethical advice will most likely result in some backlash. It's a touchy subject and potentially against the rules of the site. I haven't read them myself but then again I'm not asking for unethical advice. Good luck with this. p. |
