Odd memory problem...

Ok, so the TP2 is supposed to have the same program memory as the TP1 correct? So why is it that when i hard reset my TP1, i see close to 260 some odd megs of space, but on the TP2, its more 160 something? I know the 6.1 that comes on the TP2 is bigger than the TP1, but shouldnt i see more room than that? This was originally my wifes phone which we got to replace a failing TP1, so it didnt come with a box or anything but batt and charger. Is it possible that i got a somehow crippled phone like the Verizon TP1's?

Nope that's just how much you get. If you need more room get a microSD card.

Are you referring to RAM or Storage Memory?
The TP2 definitely uses more ram. If you are using the shipped rom there are a few things you can do to free up some ram. If you flash a custom rom those mods are done for you.

it uses more ram because of the WVGA screen im guessing. and that process filesys.exe consumes ram like crazy there has to be a way to control it but on 6.1 roms it isnt as bad.
