Does Clear Storage re-lock your phone?

Several months back I paid for a unlock, ROM'd my phone with Energy and was quite happy. Sometime in the past couple months I reverted to the stock rom. Yesterday I wanted to try another ROM and figured I would do the Clear Storage to get it back to factory settings before loading another ROM. Now none of the ROMs I try will load except the Sprint Stock Rom HTC Touch PRO2 MR1.exe. I have tried MightyROM, Neodium and Energy. Every time, my phone goes into bootloader but then the progress bar never goes past 0% and it eventually fails. Has anyone come across this before? Did the "clear storage" re-lock my sim? Is there a way to verify that my SIM is still unlocked?
Here is some info in case it helps:
OS version 5.2.21889
ROM version 2.04.651.4
Radio version 2.32.00WF

Thanks!

No it doesn't re-lock your phone. I would maybe try flashing from another pc.

SIM unlock and HSPL unlock are 2 differnt things.. SIM unlock is so you can use gsm here at home.. HSPL is for unlocking for ROMS.

like above stated, Clear Storage doesnt re-lock your phone... only the re-locker can do that...

try flashing from a sd card also

Ok, that's good news. I will try from a different computer and from SD card and see where that gets me. Thanks again! +1 on both your reps.

Re: Does Clear Storage re-lock your phone?

Ok, tried to load from MicroSd and it didn't work. It would get to the bootloader but the update screen never came up. It showed on the screen for like 1/10 of a sec "Image not found". I have a 16GB card so I thought that might be a problem. I tried to go by the xda instructions partition it but windows never recognized it as a non-removable device - dead end. So, I just blew away Windows 7 from my laptop and loaded windows xp. Installed activesync 4.5. Tried to load a ROM and still same result. With activesync showing connected, run the wizard, both ROM versions show correctly, phone goes into bootloader then to the progress bar and 0% and then Error 262: update failure. I also found the SIM card setting on the phone and it still shows unlocked. What am I missing here? Thanks!

yep, formatted fat32 from Windows 7. I'm going to try from XP next. It just drives me crazy because I did this just a couple months ago and everything was smooth sailing!!
