wifi router freezin up
 

im tryin to download a big file and i use my phone as internet... whenever my speeds get to fast it seems that it locks up my internet connection or somthing.

phone works fine, try closing app and reloading it still wont work
have to restart phone and i can teather again...


i dont like to restart my phone all the time, anyone know whats up or a way around this?

My guess is that something else is trying to use your data connection like your device is trying to check email or something like that while you are downloading your movies and interrupting the download. Make sure other things aren't running or are disabled before you begin.

i tether 30GBs a month... wifi router just hangs sometimes, nothing you can do about it..

mine will change to just saying "connecting my connection" infinitely.... i just end the app, sometimes it takes a min or 2 to stop(this is normal and im not sure why tho).. restart, re-connect to my laptop and im back rolling again..

just give it that min or 2 to shut down, you shouldnt have to be resetting your device

if you don't mind me asking, which wifi router are you using? i ask because i use tomcodon and i don't get an interruption :).

i use the Tom Codon cab as well....

i leave mine on for days at a time though(i love the android 'phonemypc app" on my TP2).. if i just turned it on, used it for an hour or 2-thered be no issue id assume..

its only ever after the 24hr mark where i feel i have to worry about it shutting down.. so to me, its not an issue-im just over-usng the app a tad lol

so thats why i say, it just happens sometimes

i am using the one that was preloaded on the energy rom.... idk if that is the tom codon cab or not, if not where do i get that? and does connecting my phone directly make this better? and what to i have to do to do that? or is it even worth it?

does someone know or have that tom codon cab? ive been looking for it for a while now and see posts on it but no cab posted
