Invisible contacts
 

EDIT: I added a screen shot of the Problem.
I've been having the weirdest problem on the TP2.
I would have searched but I have no idea what to search for.

here the prob.

When I create a new text message, and start typing a name in the "TO:" box, after the second letter, I start to get matched contacts options below, and i scroll down and pick the one i want.

However, When I start typing the second recipients name in same text, matched contacts come up, but the names are invisible or blank.

Anyone have this problem???
Please help, it is annoying as hell.

what ROM are you on? I've never even heard of this.

as eric stated. what rom 6.5 or 6.1 or 6.5.5 htc messaging client? also your device says your on a diamond? this is the tp2 forum. is issue on a diamond? or did ya forget to update your phone...lol we need more info.

ya sorry about not updating my specs.
I have a tp2, stock 6.5, with htc sense turned off. I use spb mobile shell 3.5 i believe.

anymore info you need?

pues entonces,try turning off mobile shell and try it again. or try a different ROM. one that is 6.1 or based off the new 219xx builds of 6.5,too many problems associated with the 21889 build of 6.5 and the ROMs created from it.

Did it always do this?
Maybe flash the 6.1 rom if you are using Mobile Shell.

gsh its so odd when you see someone with stock look still, just looks weird lol...

anyways does that only happen in landscape??

with the hardware keyboard AND the software keyboard??

did you recently restore your contacts?

was the PIM.vol, if you did recently restore, from a device other than a TP2?

No it happens in portrait too, with both keyboards.

I have automatic sync with my google apps account.

I never messed with PIM.


Where would the registry settings for displaying contacts be??? Maybe i can check those out.
