Syncing Gmail contacts Firstname/Lastname over Exchange
So I lost access to my exchange server for my email, and unlike a lot of people I like to sort contacts by Firstname Lastname (Company). When I sync with Gmail, all of my contacts turn into Lastname, Firstname and no company. Some contacts such as alerts from companies eg AIM forwarded text messages come in as <Unnamed> whereas they used to be (AIM). Is there any solution for this?

Can you re-configure your contacts on g-mail using a regular pc and then re-sync with your device afterward? |

i use this after the first sync, and then usually it doesn't change them back when you sync automatically.
