Post what it says in bootloader currently.

As far as unlocking without sync, I believe the hspl makers could only answer that. I believe sync is necessary for the unlocker to check for permission to complete the unlocking process.


the sync is needed for the SPL hacking itself too. even with Hard-SPL flashed I think more than that would be needed to unbrick it.

anyway...do I understand this right, the device just suddenly started rebooting like this and nothing out of the ordinary happened before that?

exactly it was working fine as usual unlocked running mightyrom. I charged it via usb went to sleep when I woke up I powered it up and..........blank screen...equals months of pain combined with no phone...

If you put it in bootloader it should say Serial toward the bottom. If you connect the mini plug of a usb cable to your device and the other end of the cable to your PC that Serial indication should change to USB which is an indication of a connection between your device and your PC. If this occurs, is this enough of a connection to remove the .63 relocker spl? Then maybe you can flash just the shipped spl, radio, and rom. :dontknow:

Thanks to those who tried to help... I will still try some other things and update this blog with any progress...P.S. the active sync reinstall joke was not funny..:angry7:. please don't quit your day job........
