Seriously? I have a car stereo with BT, USB and mini-jack inputs and I've tried them all. BT is by far the best. for one, I can leave the phone in its case on my hip and don't have to fiddle with it. The digital sound is way better than the analog connection and I can change volume and skip songs using my steering wheel controls instead of having to touch the phone. If you have a decent car stereo system you don't need the HTC audi booster. I also don't have to worry about snagging the cord and sending my phone flying in the cab of my truck. The cord is handy when connecting the phone to my Harley's stereo because it doesn't support BT, but beyond that I don't use it.

And the Tilt 2/TP2 output jack is in stereo, but you need a stereo cable to use it. It should have 3 or 4 bands on the plug (4 would be for a headset that also has phone functions). A 2 band plug is for mono and will not work properly.

I see your point.
The OP should have taken the time to research before posting his question. And simply pluging in a set of stereo headphones should have answered most of the question.
Sorry for comming off like a big brother. Just wanted to make sure a n00b didn't get flamed. Although he's been on the site a year he did come across as a n00b.

may be bt is digital,but it sounds like really old cb radio on my 09 cx9 mazda.Thats why I asked about bt audio gate way earlier...:scratch:

something must be wrong with the bt reciever in the audio system then because my moto ht820 headset(from 05) does not sound like that and neither does it when i route the bt audio from my tp2 to the audio gateway service on my pc and then out (via digital out) to my surround sound system. it comes out in full brilliant 5.1 audio whereas it would just be stereo through the audio jack.

How does Pandora sound for you? For me it sounds crappy, very low!
Slacker sounds louder and clear.

Great hae no problem but i must say and ill ask this question cause i did have a sound issue a while back ...How is ur charging cord?? if it is messed up or the contacts on the cord are the when u go to high volume then it will breakup the soud a little try a new charging cable
