TP2 Problems
 

Ever since i bought this phone it seems like nothing but a big problem, the phone freezes a lot and either needs a restart or for me to lock it and unlock it, there is a double cursor when typing a text message, sometimes when sliding out the keyboard to type a message and i start typing and the letter wont appear until i slide the keyboard back in, manilla.exe seems to crash 2 to 3 times a day and also the phone just seems to be retardedly slow Anyone else having these issues and are there fixes for them anywhere? Thanks

Flashing a new rom sounds to be the best bet. I personally find the lighter ROMS to be faster wince there is more system ram available

Custom ROMs help.

But I personally started doing some clean up and looking for what might be bogging the phone down. I had 4000+ Text messages. So I used MyPhone.microsoft.com to Archive them and the HTC Messaging application started working WORLDS better.

clear all text messages, email, and make sure you are installing apps to sd card unless they need to be on internal mem. +1 to flashing a custom rom, dont be so quick to hate the phone most of us have grown to love there is alot of helpful folks in here that will help you get on the right track and good luck!!!!

flash a 6.1 rom

I found from flashing most of the roms that sense 2.5 is also one of the culprits that slow it down a bunch. That's why the MR update was bad. I say stick to any 6.1/6.5 Rom with sense 2.1

LOL well new fish(OP), luckly for you thats whats sites like PPCG are here for.. to make that device as badass as you want it.... we have tweaks for just about any issue
