Clicking MMS image tries to save to contacts

I'm using the latest energy ROM 9/8 CHT and if I try to go back to a message that has a picture in it and click that link, the phone wants to treat the link like it is a contact cause its numbers. This happens in CLASSIC view. If I go back, click the text I got it'll say something like IMG00107-20100907-2221.jpg If I click that, up top it says... Verify the phone number and that number is in a box and below it says call, send message or save to people.

If I switch to threaded view, it shows a little picture like icon, but no picture loads.

The only thing I have installed is Arcsoft MMS_Sprint_5_0_94_128c

Am I missing a setting, or is there something I can do to actually see the picture that was sent? I am sure it is probably stored somewhere on the phone but it sucks I cant go back and view a picture. I'm not sure this is an Energy ROM problem, but a setting somewhere I am unsure of, or possibly a cab I am missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

you know your using an even older version of arcsoft right?? atleast use 5[1].2.1.22 ill attach it below... this is the one i use when i run into those ROMs that seem to have PicMail issues

also, did you use arcsoft remover before installing that version of arcsoft or did you just install over top(that couldve created your issue but not uninstalling one version before another) ill attach below..

you may need sdcerts installed or youll get an error trying to remove and reinstall(couldnt find mine for whatever reason to upload it)

Thanks boss, i'll give these a try and see what happens. I do have a security removal cab I found that seems to let me install the Arcsoft. However I did not uninstall anything prior to installing the one I installed. Just the rom and installed it. Removing it may help.

Actually I have a problem installing the arcsoft remove cab. It says it cannot be installed and try installing again to a different location. I'm installing it to the device so i'm not sure the issue.

Wasn't able to get your removal to work, but did install the other arcsoft cab and nothing happened really. The text message with the picture opens up blank. Just a white screen with nothing on it. I may have to send myself one and see what it does. So no luck as of yet on getting any of the pictures to show up.
