[Q]How do I disable screen rotation(read: landscape) in sense 2.5
 

Are there any tricks out there that will:

1) keep sense in portrait mode when i slide open the keyboard

2) go back to sense in portrait mode when exiting a program in landscape mode (ie messaging) without closing the keyboard?

I have tried HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila">
<parm name="EnableLandscape" value="false"

along with HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName">
<parm name="SENSE" value="\Windows\manila.exe" datatype="string"
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList">
<parm name="SENSE" value="Manila" datatype="string"

but that solution does not work for me

Try playing with the values in HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\
Also, what I do is go to settings/personal/buttons and just map the long press talk button to rotate screen. So you can manually just press and hold the talk button to rotate the screen whenever you want. If you dont see that option you can enable it in HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\hide rotate screen =0.
