Is there an easy way to use this with the hardware button or the windows logo?

BTW this was discussed here...

again what's the point in having 6.5 if its main notable feature is disabled? would be better to just use a 6.1 rom.

I've got bignadad's MAxsense ROM and I can access everything I need to on the 3 home pages.

Anything in the start menu I rarely ever access now, not something I need in a few moments. (Specially not for 10MB or ram)

.

I couldn't get that version to work, so I installed this one, it's more of a quick menu like on a desktop windows PC start button.

For maxsense:

I installed the 6.5 start menu removal cab then installed new quick menu v2.8.

Through the "Program Link Settings" I mapped the start widget to "QMenu.lnk", it seems best to use the windows start widget, as using the taskbar start button hangs up for a few seconds.

Thanks for this thread. It did save me a chunk of RAM.

For the start menu, I was already running QMenu 2.8 (~256KB) so removing the windows start menu really didn't impact anything.

check the qmenu settings. I think there's a checkmark for enabling it to work with the window's hardware key on your phone.

It's the option to "Register win key of device"

file this under unbelievable. the desperate measures one takes in order to keep wm6.5 even if it means to strip it of its only differentiation from 6.1.

I'm booting 56% free (105MB) which is is close to where I was with 6.1/2.1.

But I feel I don't need to overclock this rom like I was with the other ones.

I boot at 110 free on this sprint basics rom (6.1, 21057) and I haven't even installed those free ram cabs yet.
