Taskbar help with VZW MR2

1 Attachment(s)
I have never really cared for any of the pre-made taskbars available. Don't get me wrong, they are great work, but I wanted my own.

I was able to take elements from here and elements from there and put together one I liked.

I never published it because it really was not my work.

That was then (MR1)
Now with MR2 it just doesn't work.
It installs OK, but strange things happen. My battery icon doesn't change. The sound icons are gone althogether.

What I really don't understand is that both VZW MR1 and MR2 are WM6.5

I have attached the taskbar that I was using. Hopefully somebody can tell me how to get this working with VZW MR2.

what might be an issue with your icons is that the MR1 & MR2 updates have different sense builds which not be compatible with certain icons & cabs

WOW! Sorry to hear that. I loaded your TB on to Big's MaxSense 6.5x and it loaded fine. I guess you will need more help from someone who has VZW. Good Luck and thanks for all the work you do.

Yeah, I am pretty sure I know all about that, but the taskbar isn't Sense dependent.

@Brent - Before I dive into this, is this the exact same cab you used to use on the MR1 build? I know it "shouldn't" matter but...

Also, I know it may not be your style, but did you try the three cabs I posted in the other thread? Just to see if they worked? If so and they did then it gives us (me) a frame of reference outside of my phone (single points of reference suck out loud, in Dolby Surround Sound). The three cabs I posted, at least for me, replace everything including the bluetooth, sound and battery.

Again, just getting my ducks in a row before I dive in.

Yes, this is the exact CAB I used on MR1
I will try out the CABs you mention if you could point me to them please.

Well after tearing apart those 3 cabs and comparing to mine, the only thing I noticed was a registry entry that mine did not have.

I added it and now it works.
I cab for everything.

Thanks!

Do you have a screenshot of the taskbar? I've been looking for something to replace the drabby HTC one. I also have VZW.

I installed the cab but the only thing that changed is the signal bars. I lost my sound icon, the battery didn't change and neither did the 3G symbol.
