Disable htc sms in 6.5/2.5 ?
 

Man! I have looked and read till i can't see anymore!

Is there still no way to disable the HTC sms client in WM 6.5, sense 2.5/2012 ?

HTC client sux! WM client rules!

Please tell me there is a way!

Zenyee cab ver 1.2 does not do anything!

Put a text message shortcut in one of the first 3 boxes above the tab. It'll take you straight to the wm text message application.

I want to be able to disable HTC sms client and only allow WM sms. Can't do it in sense 2.5/2012

Can I change from sense 2.5, back to 2.1, in the stock sprint WM 6.5?

I had WM 6.1 on my Sprint TP2. the USB port failed and sprint replaced my phone for me, no charge, cool huh? I thought so...........

The problem is that the new TP2 has WM 6.5 on it and I can't get the HTC sms client to go away! I want to use the native WM sms client (threaded)


I want to disable the HTC sms client and only allow WM sms. I can't find a way to do it in sense 2.5/2012

Can I change from sense 2.5, back to 2.1, in the stock sprint WM 6.5?

Does anyone know of a way I can do this without flashing a different ROM?

Try this: Uninstall whatever SMS cab you put on your device, soft reset, disable Sense, install CMYLXGO's cab, enable Sense.

Know of a way to have that shortcut show a new message count like the button/tab on the sense bar?

That would be awesome!
