is there anyway to make the power button lock screen?
 

i was wondering was there anyway to have it when you hit and hold the power button, it locks the screen?

Search for an app called Lock Device 1.6. It does what you are looking for, and more. It locks the phone everytime the phone is turned off. It's great to have, as my phone tends to dial people when I put it in my pocket.
