boy, you know theyre desperate to get rid of all this tp2 stuff. i would think thats why this is on sale, but not the regular battery. it can be used in the incredible. lol.

It adds bulk. I have one and I put it on only for special occasions when I am not near my desktop, laptop, car, or wall charger. I haven't found a case yet that fits the phone with the extended battery. That being said, it's not a terrible price for a battery that's guaranteed not to fry. I paid $19.99 for the cover alone a few months back.

Shouldn't make a difference, but the best option is to have a wall battery charger, when your battery gets low swap out batteries and plug the other in. 2 x 1500mah = 3000mah :)

I bought an extended 1800mah battery (most likely overrated, but seems to last longer than oem) and wall charger off ebay for $15 shipped.

Definitely works with Sprint phones. I bought two from ebay at $35 each so this Verizon deal (hopefully with fresher batteries) is a good price. Adds several mm and some weight - really can tell. When I switch back to the regular battery, the phone feels genuinely slim by comparison. Capacity wise, I get a full day with 30-40% left over. With the original battery, I would run out of juice at 4:30 or so. My wife, who uses her TP2 sparingly, gets 5 days compared to 3 with the original battery.

This eBay seller has used 1500 mAh OEM batteries for $6.11, free shipping with a 30 day warranty.

USED OEM HTC RHOD160 DASh 3G TOUCH PRO 2 SNAP BATTERY

If you don't mind swapping batteries you can buy four and have 6000 mAh for a cheaper price than the Verizon deal. Seller also has new batteries for around $12.

or just buy the 2000Mah extended battery that is the same size as regular(stock) 1500Mah and does not require different back nor does it add any weight(ebay for $10 includes shipping). I got this one a while ago:

Its a genuine Andida battery but i didnt get it from this seller(dont remember my seller since it was about 6 month ago) - so make sure you check before you order(there are a lot of fake ones)

I have one of these. I cant reccomend them as a 2000mah battery. They will hold their peak voltage longer than the stock battery, but it quickly drops when battery life drops below 40%. I honestly feel that both this and the stock battery have identical run time

Me personally,, I dont trust no name batteries..while a 2000 mAh noname to me prolly isnt any better than the stock.. I just dont not knowing for sure.. plus Ive had not a single issue with siedio or mugen batts...or even htc extended batts.. should have that verizon one tom.. will post back with my impression..and if my seidio 3500 fits..

Too big for me. The TP2 is big enough, never mind making it larger. Longer life would be great but, I guess in this case, size does matter.....

Im just used to extended batts. plus i have big hands.. every smartphone ive had..has had either a siedio or mugen extended battery!!! I like function over form..lol

I like the looks of that case, and that the belt clip double locks. (I've knocked mine off one too many times.) Before I order one, do you think it will be too loose for a regular battery and cover?

It's kinda loose with the regular oem battery, but still very usable. The belt strap does it for me. Phone never falls off your waist. Enjoy...
