Taskman Menu

I have hard reset, but still my TP2 has no taskman dropdown menu in the top right corner. Is there a registry key that controls this?

I added Taskman to my Home Programs to clean up the memory, but I feel like I am being gipped with no taskbar icon for taskman. Something better could be in my Home Programs than Taskman...

Similarly, TP had a setting tweak to really close programs when you pressed the X, TP2 just pushes them to the background. Any ideas?

Tanx!

Re: Taskman Menu

The function to kill the program when you hit X is in the regular task manager (under tools or setting... I remember the icon looks like a wrench or something). Also, you won't always see the icon unless there is something running in the background.

don't even know where to start on this one... not enough info!!
Who's ROM are you on? What win mo 6.1 6.5 6.5x?

Is your start (windows) button on the bottom left or top right?

In start, settings, system there are some options...
Find taskmanger that came with your ROM...

you can set the x button to close on most of them

I use wktask as it allows you to see all background tasks & force close if you want
