Pim backup facebook linking

Question sorry if it has been asked before. I flash my phone often and in the past i never had any facebook contacts linked. Now i just manual linked all my contacts with Facebook. If i save my contacts using PIM backup would it automatically relink the contacts back with there facebook accounts if i flash my phone again. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe it does. It never does for me anyways.

That sucks. Is there anyway to back up your facebook contacts when your going to hard reset or re-flash your phone.

PIM backup works for me. I always restore my contacts and afterwards, go to the Facebook tab in Sense and log in. Give it a little bit to sync them all and soft reset and you should be good to go.

Oh and make sure you are set up to download data automatically

PIM Backup does backup Facebook links. The link information is stored in the notes section of the contact. Like said above, all you need to do is log into facebook from Sense once you restore your contacts and give it a second to refresh. As soon as you log into Facebook, Sense knows who is who.

Ok hearing this gives me some relieve. I was thinking it will only link your contacts that is spelled the same as ur facebook name. So as long as they are linked now and i back it up with PIM all I have to do is sign on to the facebook tab and it will automatically re-link the contacts?

Just an update on this form. I reflashed my phone to upgrade to a newer rom and PIM didnt relink my contacts to facebook. This sucks! I had to relink about 150 contacts manually. The only ones that link automatic is the contacts names that you have stored in your phone with the excat spelling as the name they have on facebook.

Is there any contacts back up program that will also relink ur contacts back to facebook.
