Flash Boot Screen?
I was just wondering how I would go about flashing a Custom boot screen?
Currently my (1st) boot screen is the black background with the words: "touch pro 2" in white text, and then the version numbers on the bottom (in red, if I am not mistaken). I would like to flash this to something more personal, as my brother is an expert in Photoshop and has offered to do a more personal image for me. So how would I go about doing this? Also with the second bootscreen, that is the one that I change from the windows folder in the File Explorer correct (welcomehead.png) Thanks for any help on the matter. (I would just disassemble my ROM change it around and rebuild using either OS Builder or Visual kitchen, but my WONDERFUL computer decided today that it no longer wishes for me to use them, and thus, refuses to open either one). |
Re: Flash Boot Screen?
the white screen withe the letter is un changeable.. the other 2 boots screens are totally mod-able..
welcomehead.192.png and startup_480x800.jpg are what you replace |
Re: Flash Boot Screen?
You can flash a custom boot screen from an RUU that will change the image of the very first screen that has your rom info and radio version at the bottom. I used to have one a year ago, can't find the file and now I'm looking for it again. If I find it I'll post.

Re: Flash Boot Screen?
There are two boot screen .nbh files in this thread, the RUU for flashing, .bmp to .nbh tools and you can also find the instructions on how to make your own.
