Rom Upgrade - No info Lost

Hi,

I was wondering if there's a way to upgrade Rom's without losing all the information on my windows mobile device - info like, how I have my front screen set up, which tabs I keep and which I remove from Sense, which programs I install, etc..

Thanks
Eric

PS - I tend to use Energy's Rom and upgrade semi-frequently, I would think that sticking to one set of roms would make the upgrade without loss of information simpler.

Ziggy471 ha an app out there that will create XML's for e-mail, wifi, owner info, etc, and if you use sashimi or XDA to load up cabs and whatnot, dump the XML's that Ziggy's app creates in there and it will do some if not all of it.

The information will have to be restored and you won't find a way to auto restore it all. There will always be some customization needed

still not total customization with either. heres a xda uc cab that makes xda uc simple to install.
