Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 Help!!!
 

Hi everyone,

I am new here! Last november, my cousin (in New York) bought me an HTC Touch Pro 2 from Sprint, unlocked it and sent it to me. (I live on Toronto, ON which is in Canada)

The phone is awesome! I love it.

But...it is really slow. I later got the WM 6.5 upgrade but it only made it a little faster. I asked a question on yahoo answers and people told me that it was not unlocked properly. I also tried to flash a new rom but no matter how many times i tried, it never works. :S

So...any suggestions? Are there any programs I can use to unlock the phone and flash a new rom?

well, i dont think anyone unlocked it, as you can freely use the sprint version on any non u.s. gsm carriers. it seems your on rogers? before you flash a custom rom, you will have to unlock it. you can find more info on that here...

its a pretty simple process, but before you try that if you just want to speed it up a bit, try a temp file and ram cleaning program. ill direct you to the one i like to use.

also try ssk tp2 dynamic resource proxy andnopushinternet.. they are suppose to free up nearly 50m i use these 2 and also clean ram and it runs very smooth + im running Co0kies Home Tab.. any questions i will try my hardest to help.. im new to this too but am learning a lot the last week or so
