Trying to avoid hard resetting...

But here's what I'm dealing with. My TP2 is "actin a fool". My clock in sense is just showing 0:00. Activesync won't connect. Can't get emails. It's showing I have an unread text message (when I don't). Running slower than my 80 year old grandma runs a marathon.

Before you ask. I have soft reset @ 4 times. I've taken the battery out @ 5 times. I've left the battery out for an hour. Nothing is fixing this thing.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone else deal with this before?

Thanks in advance... don't worry... I'l click "thanks" if anyone can help me avoid hard resetting this thing once again.

Try turning off Sense, than uninstall any software that you have to Mod it. Delete your Active sync. Soft reset and turn sense back on, and re setup your account.

sounds like a hard-reset to me, or another ROM flash.

Back up all you personal data and do a HR. At least then you're starting w/ a clean slate. What happened? Did you load something and then it started acting this way? Way is slowly building up, lagging, etc and then all of a sudden it crashed? Try to figure out what happened and if it was related to an app or mod, start setting the phone up little by little and leave out the questionable mods.

I'll try this. I did turn it off, and soft reset, but nothing. Only thing I have, software-wise to mod it, is C00kie's homeTab. But I'll try it, along with deleting activesync.

Nothing at all. I was visiting a client and noticed I didn't have many bars. Asked him if he had Sprint, he said he had Verizon but do to the metal beams, no good connection. I left and my phone was all screwy. No apps have been added in quite some time.

The only thing I've done all day on my phone was check email and I loaded up Bing Mobile, which I haven't opened up for like a month.

What you might do is cleanram, then go in and uninstall any progs you've installed recently, then disable sense, soft-reset, enable sense, soft-reset, and see what happens, I know it sounds stupid but things like that have worked for me before.

Did CleanRam a few times... nothing. And I haven't installed anything in a few months.

But then, driving home today, all of a sudden... everything started working right. Weird... now all is good.
