My TP2 is in a coma...please help it wake!
 

This is not looking good...hoping for the experts to throw me a liferaft or something. Been on here for 6+ months gathering good info...but didn't want one of my first posts to be like this.

Here is the summary:

- Had the phone for 6+ months. Have flashed several ROM's with no problems. Typically used Mighty ROM or NRG.

- Phone was getting a little slow with a few little quips in one of the older ROM's I was using...so backed everything up and reflashed ROM to new versions. Tried a few of the new ones out, but didn't like what I saw, so went back to (updated) Mighty ROM.

- Within 2 days, phone was acting real buggy...like freezing at weird times, losing info, etc... Stuff that had never happened before.

- Before I had a chance to flash back to Stock and go from there...phone locked up. So I did a hard reset. The phone instantly loads to black screen with "Touch Pro 2" in white letters and the red code in the bottom left...but then just stays there. I can't get it to do anything from that point.

- Have taken battery out...SD Card...hard reset...etc...nothing works. Just goes right to that screen. Tried holding volume down and power...that does nothing.

- When I try to connect to my PC, it is not even being recognized as connected.

- I'm going on 24 hours without my phone and this is no good. The Mighty Rom is still the ROM on the phone...but just won't load.

Help!!!???!!!!

Try flashing another rom. Hold Vol down+End key I beleive it is... not Vol-down+send+end. Then when it asks you to update press no, I beleive it is volume down. Then you should come to the tri-color screen and it should allow you to gain a active sync connection with your pc.

This just happened to me last night so its still fresh on my mind.

So heres the instructions

1. unplug battery and put it back in
2. press Volume down+End Key
3. Should show up tri-color screen and ask for you to press up/down
4. Select NO
5. You should now come back up with the "Tri-Color" screen and it should say serial at the bottom in the white.
6. Now plug in your USB cord ad it should switch to USB
7. Now flash any other rom as you would any other time.

If this doesn't work run Task29 and then re do this.

I am not familiar with "Task29"...can you please elaborate on that or provide information?

It might be better to flash the shipped rom from bootloader which will do a Task28 which will clear everything out like Task29 but after it will boot. Then run clear storage. I would do it twice. Just another opinion. :)
