I would imagine they already have safeguard in place to prevent things like that from happening.

I highly doubt they would let you take pictures of checks and deposit them immediately if they had no form of security or verification of the legitimacy :P

I'm guessing that there would be restrictions based on acct in good standing, must use direct deposit, etc...
Also, I'm sure if the check doesn't clear, they'll just tag you for it.

Just in case the OP is still looking for an app, I found that the Pageonce Personal Assistant app available on the Marketplace for free is really good.

Tried out PageOnce, and damn this thing is AWESOME! It supports any account I can think of :D

+1 i took my first stroll in the market in awhile last night and saw this.. glad to see someone beat me to it by about a day lol
