i found that if i hold the tp2 with one finger while i'm upside down, singing "blame it on the rain" by milli vanilli, while blind-folded in a tunnel sealed in dirt, yes, i do lose my bars.

HAHAHAH! Apple has a very good point. The antennae issue is on ALL phones. I just made my TP2 do the same thing. Put you palm on the bottom part where the mic is and wrap your other palm on the top right hand corner. Mines drops all the way to 1 bar. LOL. isheeps gonna get their revenge now that everyones aware all phone do it. Apple mistake was the location where the users touches is just on the wrong spot. Everyone try it on your tp2.

are your hands that small that you need to hold it with more than 1 hand??? If it was such a big issue, it would have been mentioned before now. The problem with the iphone is that this happens with NORMAL USE, not someone screwing around trying to make it do that.

I am unable to replicate this on my Verizon TP2, Vogue or Droid X. At most all I lose is ONE bar (actually my TP2 GAINED a bar twice). That's it. This is nothing that would EVER cause a dropped call through normal use, which was the main issue with the iPhone 4. Hell, with Verizon I don't even remember the last time I've had a call dropped. Maybe its the area in which I live. Or my cellular provider's network.

that's what makes all this so funny...you have to do all kinds of weird crap to make a "regular" phone lose signal, the cryphone does it with normal use!

Thank you for posting the link, but most of us around here are on CDMA so I would like to see someone post a video that is using CDMA and is not in a bad area like the one in the video says.

I am able to kill the signal on my Sprint TP2 by simply covering the top of the phone with my my pointer and middle finger of my right hand while holding the phone from the bottom half with my left pointer finger and thumb and palm facing the screen. I just have to put either two fingers on the top or my palm or something and wait a second or two and the signal disappears, I can replicate it but it doesnt work every single time and its honestly not a way I ever hold the phone, so the iPhone problem is definitely much more obvious and hindering of the phones use.

you ever hold the phone like that while taliking on it? i didnt think so.

The antenna on the Touch Pro 2 is on the top of the phone, so unless you are gripping it tight enough in that area on the top, you won't notice it in every day use, same goes for most HTC newer phones. Sorry AndroidTroll, this is the only one thing that can't be compared between these two phones.

I just tested this by going into an underground bomb shelter built in 1986 and my phone lost ALL signal just like OP said! I'm filing a complaint because this is bs
