Looking for Ringer cab?
 
Is there a cab that will allow me to set different ringer for the different Filter categories in my phone book? I.E...if I want one ringer for the categorie "friends" and different one for "family"?

and Im really looking for a cab that will asign a "silent" ringer to all incoming calls from numbers that arent' stored in my phonebook?

contacts/pick contact/edit contact/scroll down to ringtone

I have over 300 contacts in my phone. Looking to apply ringer to an entire categorie without having to do each individual person. :wink:

well, its about the only option. atleast once you do it, then back up your settings, itll be like that forever!

the only back up program I use is Microsoft myPhone. Whats another program that will back texts, contacts and assigned ringers?

well he did only say a cab for it, like he just didnt know it was a feature in the contact editing lol...

but hows he planning on setting all those peoples categories up is what im wondering.. if OP hasnt yet, which most people dont, then hes gonna have to use Darrens(i got your back darren lol) comment and go into contact editing and set the labels, while OPs in there just set the ringtones manually LOL

just fyi, once you set the ringer to a contact, the ringer sticks with the contact.. assuming said ringtone never moves out of the folder it was in when you assigned it.. its like embedding album art into an mp3, anytime a media format compable of showing art is used, the album art will always show as it become part of the mp3 file inself.. same with ringtones and contacts..
