I had a tp2 from sprint I was pretty satisfied with stock rom, my favorite custom rom was mr.x Rom.i suggest you try out stock for a bit and jus check out custom roms if you feel like wanting more flash that puppy.

Sent from my Evo using tapatalk.

Are you SERO?
Did you get the tp2 for free?
If you answered no to these questions, I probably would take the phone back and see what else is out there.
Not bashing the TP2, but it took some heavy modding to get it fast and smooth. It was the last of a generation and everything coming out now is killing it specs wise.

If you answered yes to those, and want to run stock, I would flash it back to winmo 6.1 stock and use the cleanup cab found here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ht=cleanup+cab
use the first cab listed at the bottom of the first post.
It was the only way the stock ROM ran smooth for me.

If you don't want to go backwards, then flashing customs is going to more rewarding, especially for Sprint since almost all the chefs have sprint.

WP7 is coming some time this holiday season, with that said though I think we are going to see a lot right around the corner.

Yeah, I would seriously take it back. It is a great phone for what it is, but most of us still using it are hanging on for dear life for another phone. I'll sell you mine. My biggest gripe is there is just not a lot of development going on for apps, etc. XDA and this site are awesome, but the broader community is not really interested in this phone or Windows Mobile at the moment. I would wait for a W7 release or if you're interested in Android wait a little while longer for the Epic, especially if you want a hardware kb. The Evo is cool too but can't get them right now anyways I don't think and even it is a little (I said a little, don't flame me Evo lovers) outdated for me compared to what is coming out right now.

Yeah....if you're looking to make it go much faster than it is now, you should look into the cabs mentioned in this forum. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85996

I love 'em! You may also find they help conserve some precious battery juice too!
