Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 supports simultainus Voice&Data on GSM

Did somebody here discover the same like in below thread?

http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/37644

Hello

We discovered that the Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 supports simultainus Voice&Data while International Roaming on GSM HSDPA.
But only on HSDPA!!!

So if you see a "H" where you usualy have the "EVDO" or "3G" sign top left on the screen you get E-Mails and can surf the Web while on a call.
The data speed slows down by around half but hey, my main issue was receiving E-Mails during a call while on the go.
HTC TP2 of Sprint is still my favorit. Just put a faster processor and youre done for me Sprint.
Regards

hmmm...i didn't even think of checking that with my international sim bored. i still have the sim i used when i took a trip to the philippines back in april/may. i'll pop it in my tp2 when i get home from work later this afternoon.

OP...nothing new. as long as you're under a gsm network...you'll be able to talk and surf.

HSDPA supports concurrent voice and data, this is nothing new.
Any phone running on a capable network will support it.

I especially like the AT&T iPhone commercials that advertise this network feature as an iPhone specific feature.
When a CDMA iPhone arrives users will be in for a shock as CDMA does not support concurrent voice and data.
Unless they come out with an LTE iPhone first...
