Sprint tethering choices
 

don'tmean to try and starta new thread, however everybit of good information on this topic is so far between eachother...
I've been searching thru my tp2 all day for which 'most' user-friendly, effective & safest cab i should use to tether to my laptop, only to no avail, i haven't gotten very far.
could anyone point me in the right direction to discover what my options are, pros & cons of each different program- how to install, connect and optimize?
lets see where this leads?

No worries lol, I am pretty sure that every single one of those threads have the cab in them at least once, Honestly I would like to see all of them merged and sticky'ed but oh well.

I know there was a cab but doesnt know how this works. If I install the cab, how do I connect my laptop through sprint data network? will I see some SSID like I do with my router? and I am assuming this tethering is in stealth mode and sprint wont detect.

ok, wes, or anyone, i just installed that router on my 'device', however, why can't i find it? i am unable to see it.

are you talking about the one i gave? and where can't you find it, your lappy or tp2?

i tried another cab, htc WiFi router. ya, i was onnly getting .1mb down and .08 up on my lappy. horrible i know...
i still can't find that other cab. even after a soft reset.

Perhaps try PdaNet... painless but costs $20 or so....
