how to restore stock taskbar on mightyROM FF
 

well after doin a search and not being able to find the answer I'm looking for,i decided to post a thread about it. I'm on mightyROM FF and i want to know how i can restore the stock wm taskbar when I'm in wm i want to see wm icons and such,not those from Android. if i want to see the android taskbar i would boot into android.i also wouldn't want to see a wm taskbar in android. so can anyone tell me how i.can do this? without responses like flashing another rom with it because i just got my device setup and running how i want it to.

He want's the stock looking task bar at the top of the screen instead of the custom one MM cooked into the Rom.

You just need to replace the custom files with the stock roms. Since I have no idea what mightyromFF is or what taskbar/SYS he used, you'll have to figure out where to get the stock files. You can find many of the latest SYS HERE. If you are using 6.5, any 218xx or 219xx SYS should work. If you are 6.5.x, then you may want to get the files from the same branch as what is in your ROM. The files you want to replace are most likely in the screenshot below. Get them all from the stock sys and overwrite them to /windows. You will need to recmod some of them using recmod.exe or nuerecmod.exe. Searching will help you find these tools. Then you just drag the module (folder named shellres.192.dll for example) over recmod.exe. It will then put a file named shellres.192.dll inside of the shellres.192.dll folder. Use that file to overwrite the one in /windows on your device.

whoa theres no cab that'll do this, sounds simpler to just flash a different rom. mightyROM FF is mightyROM full force. its a windows mobile 6.5.5 version of mightyROM normal its build 23563 and it has the taskbar from an htc android device.
