reg edits not cabs

I know I am going to get railed by people on this.

I DID SEARCH
and please understand what i am looking for before responding.

i have just bought a touch pro 2 brand new, it came stock 6.5.
i understand that it is missing things that came with earlier versions, (x button)
it also has several fixes in it that used to have to be tweeked.

what i am looking for is a list of reg edits for tweaks (including directions) that are known to work with the stock new issue stock version of 6.5
i do not want cabs of the tweaks.

i am really intrested in the four column in start menue, and the wider columns and bars.

the cabs available do not work with the stock 6.5 (i have tried several)

thank you for anyone who can help with this.

4 column start menu and wider bars(i use diamond tweak for these) can both be achieved using advanced config.. but feel free to wait for the reg entries

Download WinCE Cab Manager and you can look into any cab file and extract the regedits yourself and do them manually. Cabs of regedits are great because they allow you to uninstall the edit easily without having to remember them. In the case of a cab that includes files and regedits, manually installing them can be a pain. I use WinCE CM to look at cabs before I install them just so I know what's in them and what changes they will make. It also helps me to uninstall a cab that doesn't play nice with the Remove Programs app in the System folder.
