TP2 with Boost / Nextel 2-way chirp??
 

Last night about 2am, on my Walmart run, there was a guy a few people back in line chirping back and forth with someone. No big deal, and I ignored it. I happened to take a closer glance (from the infamous 50ft long line due to one cashier), and I'm 99% sure he was using a TP2. I've heard of ROMS for the old Mogul to use the 2-way years ago, but never found them. Is it possible that someone is cooking one for the TP2?

Hmm.. I will have to run it through the test and see. Having owned nextels in the past (and hearing them in their 'hayday'), this was definitely the unmistakable nextel chirp I heard.

loudtalks is a VOIP direct connect service, so it pushes data usage to work..

..youd need someone else with the app to try it out.. or 2 phones

palringo isnt not a direct connect thing, its an IM thing.. palringo puts:yahoo,aim,gtalk,msn, and others together in 1 IM app.. thats all

answered in other thread.... you cant chirp nextel with loudtalks.. just winMO phones that also have loudtalks installed
