I am anti-youtube anymore so I can't really help....

...Though I do hear that Google works nice for solving problems.

(BTW, I love your signature. Can never have to many Iphone cracks...and by that I mean smash the crap outta that piece of crap)

I used to have no problems with any ROMs with links opening the youtube player on my Diamond2. I didn't even need any program like Marcvalme's. Now, the latest ROM I'm using has the 2016.1226 Youtube player and it doesn't work anymore. I guess it's the build of the player. Isn't there an easy way to downgrade (just replacing the .exe)?

Well, replacing some files worked! I took the cab of the 1922.4122 version of the HD2 HTC Youtube player from here. I extracted the following files

from it and placed them in the windows folder to replace the ones from the newer version. I don't know if all of them are necessary actually, but this works. No connection problems BTW.

For your convenience: they are attached to this message.

thanks for posting this, but it did not work on my hd2. Guessing something else is different even though I am on energy ROM as well.
