US Cellular PRL 7/17/10 Updated
 

Here it is, for any one that needs it or just wants it US Cellular's newest PRL. I will be updating this every month or so if there is a new one

To update your prl fallow these steps

to get msl code go here steps the msl code works with the US cell

1. Grab the file below and put it on your phone it dose not matter were.

2. Go to the dialer and type in ##778 if that dose not work try ##778#

3. Click edit and enter your msl code(no not change any thing in here other than your prl)

3. Click view info then PRL click on the update prl

4. select the file and then reset after it says you can

Would it be possible for you to upload 17098 or 15096? They are the new 3G roaming PRLs.

Can anyone confirm that 17098 is indeed a 3G roaming PRL. There is an upgraded ROM on the US Cellular site. I'm currently running Mighty ROM with 17098. Am I in good shape?

It seems that US Cell has released an upgrade for the TP2 to support 3G roaming.

I am currently running Mighty Rom. It appears I need to flash this, update the PRL, then reflash Mighty. Does this seem reasonable?

Hmm...anything good in that new ROM? Upload the new PRL and I can check it out for you.

the new rom has prl 15075, just like the original stock uscc rom.

The new Rom has the same PRL, you need to flash to stock, update rom, *228 to force the new prl, and flash to new roms. Some roms will override this push though, so just make sure you're checking your PRL before you go roaming!!:-P

I'm having issues with 15096 in Jacksonville, FL. I get EV signal, but can't get on the net (#777 errors). Talked to a DT at USC and he said 17098 is the correct 3g roaming prl for HTC devices (specific to them, 15096 is for non-HTC phones).

I put 17098 on, and don't get EV, but 1x, but I have connectivity. Any thoughts?

That is incorrect. The 17098 is the PRL for HTC phones if you did NOT upgrade to the new Software on HTC phones. That PRL does not have 3G roaming.

Should have figured.... I put 17098 on last night, and stuck in 1x.. My only problem is, if I put 15096 on, I get 3G, but little to no data connectivity. Is this a VZW issue? I just constantly get #777 errors. Sorry if it's somewhat off topic from the new prl.

Thanks a bundle!!! I have to swap to a sprint PRL to get EV in some of the areas I travel. The latest USCC I could find was 15095. Thanks again
