When updating from sprint 6.1 to sprint 6.5 the black Touch Pro2 screen went to a white htc screen. What I want to know is is there is a way to make my own wvga image in photoshop and have it display when I turn it on instead of the white htc?

The animated boot screen or still image..?? Yes, you can change both of them...

I think the white HTC screen is the still image.

@OP - Just name the file "welcomehead.192.png" and drop it into your "/Windows" folder. Should be good to go!

Im looking to change the screen that shows up the second you turn the device on, it stays there a minute, the radio info shows up on top of it and the animated follows it.

the welcomehead.192.png would be the screen after the animated logo correct?

I personally have not found a way to do this. I have noticed on Roms however that this screen is changed. Maybe try asking a cook how to change it?

or there is always google.

to change the initial screen, you have to flash an nbh file with a new boot screen. Do a search you can probably find some that others have made. You can usually flash a boot screen nbh and not affect your rom. Hope this helps!

yea its as simple as changing2 files in the windows folder
welcomehead.192.png (after the animation)
SPCS_480x800.gif (the animation)

He is not talking about the Welcomehead.

He is talking about the White HTC screen that lists your Radio and all that

(The first screen you see when you turn the device on with the red text and numbers at the bottom)

You have to flash a splash screen to change that.
