Same Text being sent over...and over...and over
 

My TP2 is sending the same text to a contact over and over...it has sent it 7 times in the past 15 mins. The text isnt in my drafts but it is stuck in the outbox. I try deleting it and nothing happens. Ive soft reset, tried deleting again and nothing.
Im running the latest Mighty Rom.
Sprint Carrier.

the network is not sending the "received" command to your device so it will keep resending it untill it has been told by the network it has sent properly.

Pull the battery and wait about 15 min let the network drop your device. this should fix it.

no dice :(
didnt work...still in outbox and it immediately sent again after i powered on.

I would try 2 things, delete the contact and see if it can fail to send (although I doubt it will lose the recipient's phone #, should be in the header packet), and/or have the contact turn off their phone for 15 min's. Maybe a failed signal will come back to your carrier.

I have had that issue before. For me, i had to make sure that text wasn't sitting in the drafts and/or outbox folders. You might check those folders to see if it is in there. If it is, delete it, and that should do it.

Tried the suggestions mentioned and nothing worked....it was stuck in the outbox, i would try to delete it and it would just stay there. it kept sending the same text to the same person. it would even appear in my sent files with the correct time stamp every time it sent. Ended up hard resetting because 22 times within an hour was getting out of hand lol. Hopefully the problem doesnt come back :/
