Anyway to improve web browsing?
I just got my TP2 and noticed how buggy and laggy web browsing is in IE and Opera... that's tragically disappointing for just a beautiful and expensive device.
My old flip phone actually did a better job instantly rendering. So... I'm wondering, is there a way to improve overall web browsing? Thanks. |

Re: Anyway to improve web browsing?
I love Opera Mini, but i've never found a cab yet (or maybe haven't looked hard enough since it's been months) that would make it the Sense UI Opera Default, as well as the default web browser when hitting links in emails, RSS Feeds, and Twitter.

Setting OperaMini as the default browser is still not a very good idea as OperaMini does not pass the link thru to the broswer properly. meaning that if you have operamini as the default and try and click a link it will open OperaMini but only to the spead pages, not to the actual link url you clicked on. For the cab, try going here on your mobile: http://m.opera.com/next |
Re: Anyway to improve web browsing?
thanks for your reply. The cab is easy to find, you are right. My message said "i've never found a cab yet that would make it the sense UI opera default, as well as the default broswer when hitting links in emails, etc. ....."
i'm well aware of cabs to install the actual program. :) there are other cabs to make it the default, but they don't work properly. |
Re: Anyway to improve web browsing?
disable sense before opening a browser i find that that makes a big difference in fluidity
