n00b question for contact view
 

I might sound n00b, I have tried to search but I can't find where to change the view of my contacts. Currently they appear as Last Name, First Name but I want to change it to First Name, Last Name.

I am using mighty rom on TP2.

one way is to do it contact by contact by opening the contact->edit contact->more->file as. there is a program that does it but it's not free called contact_changer. pm me, i may be of some assistance

contact changer is a free app.. http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/07/...last-name.html just outdated..

i just save my contacts as firstname_lastname like that and never need to worry about it

I sync to Outlook, then change them in Outlook. If I am editing many contacts, I export to an csv file, then edit them in excel. Import them back to Outlook and sync back to the phone.

sounds more complicated than it is.

I actually copied contacts from Nokia to PPC, I thought it will appear as First Name Last Name as in Nokia :) anyways thanks. I will sync with outlook and then see.

I have fixed the contact view from this software TrineFix.cab, posted on another forum. Thanks for the help again :)
