backlight not turning off
 

my TP2 has stopped turning the screen backlight off automatically. i don't know what triggered the change but the screen doesn't turn of automatically anymore after I use the phone, or if it gets activated in anyway (receiving an SMS, a phone call, ...). i check the settings/system/power and 'Turn off backlight if device is not used for' is selected with the time set to 30 seconds. however thebacklight never turns off. any ideas how to fix this? thanks much!

the phone is Verizon stock WinMo 6.5 ROM!

Have you tried a soft reset to see if it clears up?

I had the same issue, my pocket had changed the settings on my phone. I just went into the settings and changed it back. The first time I failed to notice the separate settings for when the phone is plugged in if you scroll down on the task bar.
