Re: Whats next? after TP2
The Touch Pro had a 1 year life span with Sprint. I anticipate the same fate for Touch Pro 2. Sprint will need to line up something to replace TP2 by September. It's safe to say that a Touch Pro 3 or similar replacement will be released. Probably a tighter design with less weight/thickness. There's even a rumor of a smaller screen. We'll see.

Re: Whats next? after TP2
TP3 not a bad idea but a smaller screen no way. Smaller when everyone else is going bigger no way. The only benefit to that is the battery will last longer and the phone will actually fit in your pocket. hopefully TP3 will be = 1.5+GHZ, 4" screen, thinner, less expensive etc.

Re: Whats next? after TP2
Thats want i really meant just didnt want to get my hopes up that much.
Oh by the way What OS do you think it will come with? because if its WP7 that means were not gonna see til probably 2012....LOL |
Re: Whats next? after TP2
Because a lot of TP2 Sprint users are on SERO, I imagine it will be another WM6.5 device, just to meet the "requirements." A WM7 update would come eventually.
And yes, hopefully the screen doesn't shrink. 4" would be perfect. |
Re: Whats next? after TP2
My Faith in the WM platform has completely waned. I've still got my TP2, but since picking up my Moment, I'm just convinced even more that Microsoft has fallen way behind the pack.
That being said, Evo for me, the Epic is a Samsung product, and I'm really starting to dislike their Cellular Offerings. |
Re: Whats next? after TP2
i like the idea of this but most say nothing will come of it, it's all speculation

Re: Whats next? after TP2
The only reason I am still on Winmo is because of my SERO plan. hopefully they can get the full android port on the Touch Pro 2. But I dont think thats ever going to happen. At this point I am just waiting for Gingerbread to come out at the end of the year...
