Use a Sprint Touch Pro 2 on Verizon?
 

Hey I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2 that I want to use on Verizon Wireless. I searched for guides on how to do this but they all date back to 2009 or earlier and I followed 1 and it did not work. So I was wondering if someone could point me towards a working guide or tell me how to switch it.

wrong section, let's see if i can get you on the right track. you must submit the esn of the sprint phone to verizon and hopefully, they accept it. you will get further instructions after that.

I tried doing it online and it says there was an error. Tried calling and having them do it but that was before I set the MSL to 000000 and changed all the stuff in ##778. Now they are closed so I can not call and have them try and put it through but the online activation still is not working and *228 says there is an error as soon as it tries to get information about my phone. Also not sure if it makes any difference but it says "preferred network" in the top left instead of verizon. I am using the stock verizon rom on it right now.

you're going to have to get verizon to add the esn, you can't do it on the pc.

you have to call...But I will be shocked if they do it.

I tried something similar with sprint and could not get it done.

you call cs and tell them you bought this phone, and want to use it on verizon. they had an open-door policy about accepting other carriers' phones...until they released their tp, which was inferior to everyone else's tp..then they changed up because folks were buying sprint tps and bringing them to verizon. i tried to find the link..

Actually, it is possible to get the ESN added to VZ but you need to know a VZ tech personally & have them do it on the sly.

I had two Sprint TP's added to VZ that way, but the guy who did it for me doesn't work for VZ anymore.
