SPB Backup - Restoring Contacts
 

Hi, I just did the following:

- Upgraded from Stock VzW WM6.5, Sense 2.1 to Stock VzW WM6.5, Sense 2.5
- I then did HardSPL (had never unlocked before)
- Upgraded to Mr. X's "Fixed" VzW WM6.5, Sense 2.5


Everything went fine. Now that I am up and running, as usual I opened my SPB Backup and selected to restore my PIM data (to restore my contacts). However, it did not restore my contacts (I have used this in the past for this...when I went from 6.1 to 6.5, on hard resets, etc...).

Can someone PLEASE help me get my PIM data back onto my phone ???

You generally can't recover backup made with one ROM onto a different ROM. Sometimes you can (and it depends what is being backed up/restored), but there may be differences that break the restoration process particularly when it comes to synchronization files and system files. Don't know if that's the problem in this case since I know nothing about the Mr. X's ROM, but I'd suggest scanning the thread specific to that ROM to see if anyone else has experienced this issue might have some suggestions.
