TP2 and New youtube app

Has anyone used the new google youtube app on the TP2? I just installed it on my TP2 and when you watch a video it will automatically go fullscreen but it plays the video upside down. If you have the screen open and tilted up while its sitting on the table the youtube video is up side down kind of defeating the purpose of the tilt screen lol. Any help would be appricated. Thank you

Pardon my ignorance, but how is this app better than using the Youtube app included with the phone (automatic landscape playback)? Unless Sprint doesn't include this app...

If there is a benefit, can you tell me what it is?

You get the benefit of doing a handstand while watching youtube vids!

haven't tried this yet...I've experienced a problem w/ the youtube app (on Mighty's Impact from Feb 24) and the stock Sprint app that audio stop streaming after a short while. It only ever seems to happen when switching between videos; never in the middle of a video.

if you are talking about the auto youtube program (any youtube link automatically opens in the streaming media player), you probably need the keyboard closed in portrait mode, then when you press full screen, it will landscape properly. Divx can do the same thing.
The reason a lot of us are using it, is it links youtube properly no matter, where the link is (opera mini5, email, twitter).

The youtube app this guy is talking about is pretty neat, but not new. You can actually sing in, view your subscribtions, your messages and you can comment and view comments. Finding specific videos is much easier to, like part 1, 2, 3 etc. Because you can view the users uploads easier to. There is only one bad thing- the quality is terible compared the the native app. Thats why I prefer the native one.

Ah! Now I get it...

Not better for watching, but better for finding and tracking.

Got it!

This is the reason why I use the other youtube app rather then the native one. But I did find a solution to my issue, I just have to open the app and slide open the KB and then play the video and it plays correctly. Thanks everyone
